Geraldton Pottery Club has four new potters’ wheels, thanks to a grant from the City of Greater Geraldton.
The group has 30 members and meets every Tuesday night at the old Residency building in Marine Terrace Beachlands.
Club president Libby Rowland said the board of the Cultural Trust, which manages the building, recently allocated a shed to house the club’s kilns.
“The club is expanding and because people are accessing the space more often we are making more room,” she said.
“People interested in joining can find us at the back of the old Residency building on Tuesday nights.”
