A DIANELLA man alleged to have sexually assaulted three girls while involved with a lawn bowls club will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.

Police believe the 34-year-old “sexually assaulted and indecently dealt” with the girls who were aged between 13 and 14 at the time of the first offence.

Police believe the offences occurred between 2000 and 2017, while the man was involved in a lawn bowls club in metropolitan Perth.

Among the charges laid against him were five counts of sexual penetration of a child over 13 and under 16, five counts of indecent dealing with a child over 13 and 16 and one count of persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16.

His next court appearance is scheduled for today.

WA Police said the charges followed a lengthy investigation into alleged historic child sexual abuse.
