West Aussie? Through and through! Darren was born in Geraldton, raised in Perth and learned to drive in Bunbury. That means that he’s almost guaranteed to pronounce the suburbs and towns correctly when he’s on Telethon.
He’s also been on WA radio for half his life, which you would assume would give him an unparalleled knowledge of music and broadcasting. Sadly, this is not the case, hence him working on Spirit.

Its a good thing Justin can string a few words together, push buttons and drink coffee because when it comes to cars.. electricity.. dirt or any physical work except going to the gym a couple of times a week to avoid a heart attack... He has no hope!

Favourite Food: Pizza! Most things Italian! Simpsons flavoured biscuits… If they made them I bet they’d be nice.

If there was a movie made about your life, which actor would play you? I would like to play my own character thank you very much, why pay an actor to learn and act my life if I can do it better… Pay me!
Favourite band / singer: Green day, Lee Kernaghan, Nickelback, Garth Brooks, Scissor Sisters… The list goes on… as you can tell I have a wide range of music, I don’t rule much out because I’m not ignorant when it comes to music like some people.
