SPIRIT 102.9 BROOME
THE CHRISTMAS CASH COMPETITION
The following Terms & Conditions apply for The Spirit 102.9 Broome Christmas radio competition to be run between October 1, 2009 and December 24, 2009. The final draw will take place on December 24, 2009.
A copy of these Terms & Conditions can be collected at Spirit 102.9 Broome’s office at 24 Clementson Street, Broome or at www.spiritradio.com.au or at the following participating retail outlets – (BP Reid Rd- Broome IGA, Broome Furnishings, Broome Pharmacy, Chinatown Pharmacy, Crystals Surf & Fashion, Kimberley Camping & Outback Supplies, Minshull Mechanical, Motorcycle and Small Engine World, Clark Rubber, Anastasia’s Pearl Gallery, Allvolts Power Solutions and the Shinju Motor Group.
METHOD OF ENTRY
This is a competition of chance that gives listeners the opportunity to register for one major prize draw.
Entry forms will be available from the retail outlets listed above. A purchase must be transacted before an entry form will be allocated. Each Thursday, all tickets for that week will be collected from retail outlets and 3 qualifying winners will be drawn. Each of those 3 names will be announced on air, on Spirit 102.9 during Friday’s Breakfast Show, between the hours of 6am and 9am. Those 3 qualifying winners will have exactly 102.9 minutes to call back on the nominated number and identify themselves. Proof of identity will be required to qualify.
Once the qualifying winners have been identified, the entries from that week will be discarded. The following weeks qualifiers will be drawn from new entries.
A maximum of 36 people will be registered for the major prize draw.
Listeners may try to enter this competition via entry form as many times as they like, providing a purchase is made at the nominated retailer at the time.
MAJOR PRIZE DRAW
The major prize draw will be a random draw and will be conducted at Matso’s Broome between 8am – 9am December 24, 2009. All qualifying entrants will be invited to Breakfast and the winner will be drawn, and must be present at the breakfast to claim their prize. The winner will also be announced on air between 8am-9am on the same day. The judge’s decision will be final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
THE PRIZE DETAILS
The Cash prize component will be paid in a lump sum by ETF. This prize is not transferable and must be taken as supplied.
PRIZE CONDITIONS
If the major prize winner is under the age of 18 years, that winner must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to collect their prize.
It is a condition of entry of this competition that the major prize winner and their accompanying friend must execute these Terms & Conditions.
USE OF PHOTOS etc
All contestants acknowledge that it is a condition of entry that The Spirit 102.9 Broome has the right to publicise their names, characters, likeness or voices for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition.
The winner may also be required by The Spirit 102.9 Broome to participate in a photo, video and/or film session and acknowledges that The Spirit 102.9 Broome has the right to use such publicity photos, video and/or films in any medium/website and in any reasonable manner it sees fit, unless the contestant advises The Spirit 102.9 Broome at the time of entering the competition that he/she wishes to retain his/her anonymity.
It is a condition of entering this competition that contestants consent to their telephone and other conversations with The Spirit 102.9 Broome being broadcast on air.
INDEMNITY
All contestants release from and indemnify REDWAVE MEDIA LIMITED (ACN 083 553 860), and BP Reid Rd- Broome IGA, Broome Furnishings, Broome Pharmacy, Chinatown Pharmacy, Crystals Surf & Fashion, Kimberley Camping & Outback Supplies, Minshull Mechanical, Motorcycle and Small Engine World, Clark Rubber, Anastasia’s Pearl Gallery, Allvolts Power Solutions and the Shinju Motor Group
against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in this competition including (but not limited to) damage to property, personal injury whether direct or consequential, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
MISCELLANEOUS
The major prize winner will be sent a letter advising who they should contact to redeem prize. Employees of REDWAVE MEDIA, all participating retailers, AND OTHER ASSOCIATED SPONSORS, their immediate families, agents, sponsors or any persons connected with devising or promotion of this competition are ineligible to enter.
The promoter reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time throughout the promotion.
The Spirit 102.9 Broome and REDWAVE MEDIA PTY LTD will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided.
In all matters all decisions of The Spirit 102.9 Broome staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained into.

SAIL FOR A DAY COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following Terms & Conditions apply for Spirit Radio 09-10 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race “Sail for a Day” competition to be run between 23rd November 2009 and 10th December 2009. The final prize winner will be announced between 6am and 10am on The Spirit Radio Network on Friday 11th December 2009.

METHOD OF ENTRY
This is a competition of chance that gives listeners the opportunity to register for Major Prize. A cue to call will be announced on each Spirit Radio Network service in Karratha, Hedland, Broome, Geraldton, Southwest and Remote and a caller number nominated.
The nominated caller through will have their name and details registered for the major prize. Entry can also be conducted via the Spirit Network website, by emailing details to admin@spiritradio.com.au, or by filling in the entry form published in West Australian Newspapers and posting them to PO Box 38, Leederville WA 6902.
MAJOR PRIZE DRAW
The major prize draw will be conducted on the Spirit Radio Network and will be announced on Friday 11th December 2009. The judge’s decision will be final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
THE PRIZE DETAILS
The major prize component consists of:
1) Return airfares for 2 people departing from their local port and flying to Perth on Skywest Airlines, plus return airfares for 2 people departing from Perth to Geraldton on Skywest Airlines. All air travel supplied by Skywest is within Western Australia only.
1 nights accommodation in a twin share room at Broadwater Resort Apartments in South Perth if required. 2 nights accommodation in a twin share room at Broadwater Mariner Resort in Geraldton, including dinner. A money can’t buy sailing experience onboard Australia’s entry in the Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race, ‘Spirit of Australia on Sunday 20th December 2009 from 9am to 1pm.
The sail is weather dependant. If for any reason beyond our control Spirit of Australia is not available, the sail will be arranged on one of the other Clipper 68 yachts.
The group of 2 people must travel on the same dates. This offer/prize package expires on 22nd December 2009 and All flights MUST be booked and taken by this date. Minimal travel insurance and applicable taxes/fees are included. Transfers to and from the airport are not included.
This prize is not redeemable for Cash or transferable and must be taken as supplied.
